Cinco de Mayo

FYI... Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday and is not celebrated in Spain, just in case you were wondering.

Day 2 of Ham and Cheese!

Happy Mother's Day (In Spain, they celebrated mother's day today)

Lots going on in the world, but not much is going on in my life. I woke up this morning after sleeping in and was automatically bored. I decided to motivate and go for a walk. Well, my walk ended up being an hour and 45 minutes long.

When I got back to the house, Rachael was at the gym so I took advantage of the peace and quiet and read my book. Then it was lunch time!

After lunch, I finally interviewed Mila for my homework for Variedades and it went well. She spoke for a good 6 minutes, and I felt that was a good amount of time figuring my questions were short answers.

I Skyped with my parents after the interview. We talked about my birthday and Karyn's graduation and everything inbetween. May is going to be a crazy month in the Cmeyla household, that is for sure. It was nice to see my parents today too because I am starting to get really anxious to come home and it is hard to focus on what I am here for, the studying and school work. Planning everything out for Memorial Day and my birthday is hard to do over Skype so that is another reason I am excited to just be home.

I went to email the file to my teacher, but the file was too big to put in an email. Uhh oh! I didn't know what to do at first but then I thought I would make it into a YouTube video and email her the link, but little did I know how long this would take. Lucky for me I was doing this before it was due, but 4 hours later, the video was finally uploaded.

While the video was uploading, I Skyped with Brynn for a while and it is now official (my parents gave their permission) that she is going to come and visit me 4 days after I get back home! WOOOOHOOO! I am very very excited.

We ate dinner and after dinner I watched National Treasure for the first time. It was a very good movie and I can't believe that I have never seen it before. It makes me excited to get back to the states so I can watch the second one in the sequel, along with all the other movies that I have come out while I have been abroad.

I watched the movie up to the finish and then went to bed because it was pretty late! 19 days!
