Healthy House

Everyone in the house is finally feeling better and 100%! Woohoo! It finally means that the flu bug should be gone for good, until the next time a new virus starts up.

Today I accomplished my homework and that is about it. I stayed in bed the majority of the day and didn't leave the house at all. I have concluded that Sundays are a rest day for Spaniards and there truly is nothing to do. You have to make your own fun.

The highlight of the day was Skyping my parents and my sisters. They were both home, which is not often, and we got to discussing spring break. It made me really excited but nervous at the same time. Things are coming up so quickly, yet so slowly. Cannot wait to be reunited with my parents again :)

Today also marks the "3 months til I go home" date. It is hard to believe that I only have 3 months left in Spain, but at the same time it is quite exciting to know I will be back on American soil so soon.

Rachael and I did some reflecting today and we realized that these 5 months are nothing in comparison to the rest of our lives. It is crazy the short amount of time we are actually spending here in Granada. We have to make the most of the experience and the time that we have here, including making memories. This thought reminded me of why I am keeping a blog and including such silly details. The blog is for me, and others if they want to read it. It is for me to remember my time here, and the posts include what I want to remember and how I want to remember my studying abroad experience.

The rest of the night was pretty boring, same old, same old. At night I watched a movie, a stupid movie, 2 Days in Paris and half of it was in Italian. I didn't understand it, at all, but for some odd reason I wanted to finish it. After that, I hit the sack!
