Easter Sunday

Hoppy Easter!

I woke up this morning after sleeping in for a long long time. I didn't have to wake up for anything today because I had no plans and my parents had left Granada at 6 in the morning. I told them to call me if they had any problems, and I had no missed calls so I assumed no news was good news.

I ate breakfast and then went back to bed, what a life! It was raining so there was nothing that I could do outside and it was kind of depressing.

When I woke up, for real, I blogged and blogged and blogged. That was my main purpose of the day. The rain prevented me from going to watch the parade that was taking place today and going around town to find a church to go to an Easter Service.

During the day Rachael and I planned a weekend vacation to Almeria, Spain for April 20 and 21. It was the only weekend that we don't have something planned, and now we do. Almeria is a town on the Mediterranean Sea so it should be beautiful and a nice getaway.

We also looked into hostels for Barcelona but we soon realized that it was now peak season and everything was completely booked and the prices were up. As of right now it will be Rachael, Michael, Sam and I going to Barcelona for the weekend of May 9 - 12. Sam is not 100% sure that is going to go so we have to wait on him before we can book anything. We found a few options that were decently priced, in a good location and suitable for our needs.

I skyped Kristin today too! We caught up on our spring breaks, mine more interesting than hers because she had to stay at home and watch Sparky. We chatted for a bit and we also tracked our parents flight as they were flying over the Atlantic Ocean, Canada, and the USA.

When my parents landed in Chicago I had Kristin contact me (they called her) because I wanted to know that they had made it safely and without any troubles.

Soon after Skyping Kristin I went to bed and waited, in my sleep, for the text saying that they arrived in Green Bay safely. It was a very boring day but I did accomplish a lot of blogging, which took me hours to do!

Tomorrow back on the grind of school, and I'm not looking forward to it.
