Stamping Begins.
Today was definitely a bit more eventful than the previous day, but it took some time for it to get exciting. I went to class and learned about expressions in Spanish that involve animals, and then I came home and went to sleep.
When I woke up I hung out and then did some homework, finishing up my paper, which I now learned needs to have in-text citations. So, I will have to go back and do those because I didn't remember having to put them in from the start. Creating more work for myself. I did finish up my bibliography though, so that's one less thing I have to do.
When I emailed with my dad today I learned that he put the car on hold, so the listing has been taken off of the internet. Sad, I cannot review the specs on it anymore. Tonight, after I go to bed, he is going to dealership to check it out and write down every detail about it that I would need to know. For example, power windows and mirrors.
Before going to stamping, I stopped at the scarf store, but no such luck existed with what I was looking for. I will return in a few days because they think that they know how they can help me out!
Tonight I also returned to my stamping on fabric class and we got to start making things! It was really fun and we got to do 2 pieces of art. What it is, is you have a piece of white fabric (or whatever color you want) and you paint on a silk and wax like liquid that will dry white. You then take the whole piece of fabric and dunk it in dye and let it sit there are soak it up. When you take it out, the whole fabric is dyed that color except for the parts that you painted with the silk mixture. I think that we get to keep the projects, so when they are dried and complete, I will take a picture of them and post them to my blog!
After stamping class I came home and ate dinner and then hit the sack. It was a long day, with a lot of thinking and interpreting of Spanish, which gets exhausting fast!
