Irish Bar Night

Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday. It was a crazy day so I didn't have time to blog but I think I remember the jist of it :)

I woke up at 7:30 am to apple juice for breakfast, and I was excited! It was nice to mix things up. At 8:30 I left the apartment to meet Leah to walk to Building K for our first day of classes. We took the most steep and uphill way possible! Talk about a work out just walking to class!

In my class original, I only knew one person, Sam, who is from Ashwaubenon! Us Packer fans have to stick together! #1 even overseas! But eventually Maggie showed up because she was placed in the wrong class, so I then knew 2 people from Winona. There are 12 of us in the class, tiny compared to class sizes in America and 2 professors. The first professor teaches 3 hours. His name is Fermin and he is hilarious and always cracking jokes. He makes you feel comfortable and not like such a foreigner. The second professor is a woman and her name is Susana. She came off as a *female dog* and is not the nicest. She does not tolerate any English and will not respond to you if you use it! Maybe her strict-ness will pay off, hopefully!

After class Rachael and I ate lunch, pan fried fish, grilled vegetables and potatoes and salad, and then we headed off to do some more shopping! I noticed I had a blister from walking everywhere but sometimes you just have to suffer through the pain! We walked up and down the main street for shopping, Recogidas and I bought a pair of boots, a ring, and a cute shirt! All for super cheap, a steal!

After shopping we came home for dinner, a ham and cheese pizza with sopa (soup) and a little salad and bread. Wes got home soon after and we invited him out to the bars with us for the night. We took these pictures before leaving!

We went to Hannigan's and Sons 2 Bar, which is an Irish bar but mostly Americans go there. The deal was 1 euro shots! That attracted everyone! We got home around 1:30 am and went to bed because we had class the next day (Thursday)

That sums up Wednesday, a pretty good one if you ask me! :)
