Buñuelos!

Today was the last Friday of my intensive month-long course! And of course, I started off on the wrong foot by waking up 30 minutes late, but I still made it to class on time! In class we reviewed for our upcoming exam on Monday, that is worth 40% of our final grade. It covers about 100 pages, so I am starting to stress out about that. This grade will transfer back to Winona as one of the Spanish classes that I need for my major.

After class we ate lunch, took a siesta and decided to go shopping. I needed to get a pencil because I only brought one here.. stupid idea, I know. I also ended up getting a necklace, a watch because there are no clocks in the classrooms and I am sick of bending over to check my phone, and Rachael and I split an order of Buñuelos! Buñuelos are like mini doughnuts, and are superb! They melt in your mouth and remind you of the fair. We splurged and spoiled ourselves today :)

After that it started to rain so we decided it was probably the smartest if we head home. Tonight we are just going to relax and rest up because tomorrow we have to wake up at 7 am to get ready to go hiking in Los Caharros. I have never really hiked anything expect the bluffs in Winona so it should be interesting and have very beautiful sights. Expect pictures :)
