Mountainous Monday

Monday went the same as usual, except for one tiny difference. There was an extra person at the table for breakfast. It is definitely weird to have another roommate, especially after Rachael and I were kind of getting used to Wes being gone. Class was a hoot, as usual, but the walk to and from school was painful. I had bought new boots here last week and I wore them for the first time today and my right ankle got completely cut up from them! Thankfully a girl in my class had a Band Aid because that stopped from the friction hurting me even more!

After class I came home and fell asleep until Rachael got home. That one hour nap is the best :) We ate lunch alone because Lynette was eating with her group and then Rachael and I decided to go for a walk along the FLOWING river, again. The mountains were gorgeous today, like straight from a picture book!

When we were walking we stopped at the exercise park and fooled around a bit. People were looking at us funny, but that's not uncommon because we are Americans. We took a lot of funny pictures on the equipment and we probably were not using them the correct way. Oh well, we had fun :)

After our walk we went to the supermarket to buy munchies and food to eat after we go out. I bought some cookies, called Reblenas and we tried them, ahh heaven! So delicous! We also bought some dark chocolate covered peanuts because we wanted to mix up our chocolate cravings!

Tonight I am going to Skype Haley, my old roommate and then call it an early night because I need to catch up on my sleep. I feel like I haven't gotten a full night's rest since about the first week of being here and that is not okay in my book. Hopefully tonight will change that!
