Friday Classes Round 2

Today I had my Monday and Wednesday classes, which means that I was at CLM for 7 and a half hours. The classes were rough, and we were reviewing or finishing up learning for the exams next week. Midterms before spring break, that must be how it is done everywhere in the world!

Today was also the marker for the half way point of studying abroad. It is a bitter sweet feeling, but more sweet than better, as of right now. I am just getting exhausted of the everyday activities and not having as much variety in life as I would like. I need something exciting to happen, such as a vacation!

Between my  afternoon and night class, I met with Helen and we worked on our presentation for our Spanish civilization and culture class. We give the presentation on Monday and it is about the celebration of birthdays and santos in Spain. In our civilization and culture class today we watched a movie and it was a wacky one indeed. There was a man celebrating his birthday who hired actresses and actors to be his family. It doesn't get any crazier than that!

After class I returned home to pack up my things for the weekend in Sevilla and Cordoba, ate dinner and then began to pack up my things for the cruise. I am very excited to go and meet up with my parents! Its hard to describe the emotion that I feel, but I am nervous because I haven't seen them in so long. It will be a great reunion, I'm sure :)
