New Pope

There's really not much to talk about for what I did today, because nothing was out of the ordinary.

I woke up with a sore throat so I'm hoping that I'm not getting sick. That would be the worst to be sick over my spring break.

In my Islamic Culture class, we learned that our exam is not going to be on Monday! WOOHOO! And if it is on Wednesday, when I won't be there, I can take the exam after break. It is a HUGE relief to know that I won't need to be cramming for the exam along with the rest of my classes.

In my Civilization and Culture class we decided that Friday is going to be a movie day, thank goodness, and that Monday we will have our presentations. This is also a relief that I have the whole weekend to prepare for the presentation. On the Wednesday that I am going to be missing, it is going to be a class about Semana Santa, which will not be on the exam, so I am in luck!

The soccer team that I am playing on is getting more coordinated and we're trying to figure out the best time for practices. The only bad thing about the league is that once you lose the game, you're out of the bracket. What a shame!

In news today:

There is a new Pope! He is from Argentina and is the first South American to become Pope, and the first Jesuit. I was in class when the smoke changed from black to white, but it has been televised on TV for the whole night.

Greg Jennings, Packer's wide receiver  got offered 10 Million dollars but he hasn't accepted yet because he still needs to meet with the Vikings.

  2. We are playing other teams from other study abroad programs! On our team we have a guy from Australia and a someone from Brazil, I believe, who are both studying abroad here in Granada. So it could be more than just Americans!
